Eta technology manufactures a variety of testing machines for a wide range of products like automobile ball joints, steering columns, steering gears, gear shift lever, pumps, springs, etc. Here the ball pin is held firmly and a gradually increasing load up to 300 kgf is applied radially on the body, then reduced to zero and applied in the opposite direction and then released fully, simultaneously measuring the displacements of the body with reference to the ball pin. A graph is plotted [hysteresis loop] with load vs displacement and it also manufactures fatigue-testing machines for various components.
