Low Tension Furnace Cable is designed for connecting transformer busbar and for melting electrodes. The Furnace Cable is available as multi layer stranded annealed bright bare copper electrolytic wire insulated with polyester tapes varnished by cambric double insulation having effective thickness of 20 mils. The Furnace Cable is duly impregnated with highly polymerized thermosetting varnish suitable to withstand 400 volts. The Low Tension Furnace Cable has overall asbestos braided with heat proof flame proof black compound effecting overall strength of asbestos.
