GE Consumer & Industrial provides HWT Type Fixed Enclosed Power Factor Correction equipments. There are recommended for use on indoor or outdoor primary circuits where kVAR is needed. These are placed at various load centers. The can also be placed the terminals of 2400, 4160 and 4800 volt motors. These HWT Type equipments are offered up to 900 kVAR. These are CSA Approved and provided with discharge resistors to minimize voltage to 50 volts or less within 5 minutes of de-energization. Some key features of these HWT Fixed Enclosed Power Factor Correction equipments are as follows:

• 50,000 Amp current limiting fuses [2 or 3 fuses available]
