The server management firmware provides a standard cross-platform interface along with server remote management and automatic recovery functions. These functions allow the administrator to control servers at all times. In addition, a modulated design allows control and management by using the Internet or in series data processor.
Working
By using IPMI 2.0 technology and the Internet, LAN or network, the administrator can remotely control various server components such as CPU, fan speed, system temperature, voltage and other operations, and execute power management. The firmware can also send an alert message to the administrator through e-mail or SMS if it detects an abnormal situation, thus effectively promoting the convenience and timeliness of server management.
