Curomatic is designed to carry out curing/re-flaw on printed circuit boards, solder reflow, drying, glue curing and pre heating. Curomatic heat source is state of the art convection and long wave heating with fast response to perform drying of epoxy, soldering of surface mounted device [smd] and a variety of applications requiring non-contact heating. Curomatic is simple to interface with other process machines and easy to operate. Curomatic is carefully engineered to meet high standards with ease and success. Overhead heater can be accessed for maintenance by pneumatically lifting a hinged top hood and then the top heaters` support. Th esystem is built around a rugged tubular/extruded frame. The sheet metal panelling and hood are specially treated and sprayed with high temperature corrosion resistant paint for heavy industrial use. Electrical controls are kept to the bare minimum to achieve optimum results with minimum set up time and maximum safety. Interlocks wherever necessary are incorporated. The heaters are in sulated with high-grade ceramic wool. This material has low thermal conductivity and resistance to high temperature. The inner surface of the machne is also insulated with alumina foils and ceramica boards. The heaters are supported by a reflective cover made of high-grade stainless steel. The pcbs are carried through the edge type width adjustable conveyor. The conveyor is driven by a variable speed ac motor with vector speed control drive. Power is transformed to the conveyor by means of gears, ss chains and sprocket arrangement.
