Automatic Power Factor Controller with Special Timing Sequence of Type 2205 has a built in logic timer which inhibits operation for a fixed delay of 65 seconds for LT Relays [and 310 seconds for HT application Relays] whenever the following changeover occur:

• Changeover from Auto to Manual and vice versa.

• Changeover from capacitor off to capacitor on signal. This delay ensures that the capacitors are fully discharged before they are re switched in. This avoids transient and damage to capacitors.
