The jaws offers self-centering hollow chucks, which are power operated. These chuck are specially made for high speed chucking, bar chucking and universal machining. They are ideally suitable for cnc machines. These jaws chucks provide the complete solution to all chucking problems where jaw movement has to be compensated. A centering insert with spring-loaded centre is fitted as standard equipment. This chuck can also be run concentric by adjusting the centering inserts. Technical features are: body - alloy steel; toughened guide-ways hardened, ground and lapped; wedge - ni.Cr.Steel, case hardened and ground. Base jaws - guided in deep, wide, hardened slots in the body with serrations on the top surface.
