The Self Centering Chuck is designed with two or four jaws and provided with steel alloy thrust bearing. The Independent Self Centering Chuck is available in size ranges of 65mm, 200mm, 315mm and 355mm.

- Jaws are made of steel heat-treated with Gripping portion hardened to hardness 55 to 60 HRC.
- Screw and Thrust Bearing alloy steel hardened to hardness range of 30 to 40 HRC.
