This system incorporates a special Winching Mechanism, mounted on support which lowers & raises the cage. In the absence of RCC well inside the building, a fabricated enclosure supporting structure can be erected on site. This structure is self supported / independent of the building and can be erected inside or outside the building. Guide wheels are fitted on the cage which runs in the Guides which is provided on the structures on opposite sides. This arrangement enables smooth & trouble free travel of the cage in a vertically straight line. Collapsible gates are provided at all entry / exit points for essential safety

- Motors: Duty Crane duty motors Class F insulation, IP-54 protection.
- Gear Boxes: Precision flat helical / spur / worm Gear units in light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanent oil / grease lubrication.
- Brakes: Single / Dual electromagnetic brakes featuring automatic braking on power failure.
- Electrical Panel: Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.
- Limit Switches: To prevent over hoisting & over lowering of hook.
- Electro-Mechanic Door Locks near the collapsible gates to ensure lift does not work electrically if any door is open. The collapsible gate does not open mechanically unless cage is on corresponding level.
- Spring Buffers on the floor of the lift well to cushion the cage.
