Product Profile of Kleen Ac Silicone

Britacel are manufacturers of specialty silicones. Kleen ac is a solvent based auxiliary designed for spotting, scouring, pre-scouring, scour/dye and post dyeing operations. The following are its prominent features:

• Clear, flowable liquid

• Removes and emulsifies dirt, oil, wax etc. From fibres, yarn and fabrics.

• Due to its solvent content, it is especially suited for removal of oil and grease stain.

• Can be used as a scour/dye auxillian on cellulose, synthetic and synthetic blends with natural fabrics.

• It has no effect upon the built up, yield or fastness of disperses, acid or pre-materialised dyestuffs.

• Can be used along with a suitable alkali e.G. Caustic soda, soda-ash, and phosphates in prescouring or soaping off operations.
For spotting kleen ac is applied neat on the affected portion by a gun or by brush and then scoured in order to remove the stains completely. For other application kleen ac is dissolved in warm water and then added in the bath, it can be used by padding method.
