Numag data systems manufactures ddc-32digital data collectors that is a digital data collection unit for collecting field digital data. The digital data collector can acquire up to 32 digital inputs with 0-5 v, 0-12 v or 0-24 v dc optical isolation connected to digital input. The collector can scan digital inputs and send the acquired data on rs-232 port and have the facility to be programmed to scan digital inputs once in 10 ms up to 10 seconds in steps of 10 ins durations. The digital data collectors have start scan and stop scan commands for activating/ deactivating scans. The ddc-32 digital data collector can read data at specified scan period and dumps 6-byte streams, 1 byte header and 1 byte checksum data. The digital data collectors are available with separate application software for providing gui to interact and collect data and allow the collection and storing in a file readable into excel spread sheet for further analysis.
