Indian core oil, since 1967, manufactures various types of foundry chemicals. Being a part of that satoshell -200 is a novolak type phenol formaldehyde resin.Satoshell - 200 is available in liquid. Having no drying characteristics at ambient temperature, satoshell - 200 is a viscous material. It is easily compatible with the catalyst, hexamethylene tetra mine [hexa] and can coat refractory grains and graphite flakes either individually or in a mixture. Workability of this resin mixed with magnesia carbon is about 12 hrs. Minimum providing sufficient time to the production people for pressing the mix. It is used to make a mixture for magnesia-carbon brick.
