Guindy machine tools limited or gmt is engaged in the work holding, work positioning, machine tool, metrology and foundry business. It is accredited with the iso 9001:2000 & iso 14001:2004 certification of quality and environmental systems. The cast iron products are made of close grain cast iron with hardness from 190 to 210 bhn. Two grades available: grade i - hand scraped; and grade ii - machined. The ci surface plate is ribbed to minimise deflection under load to conform to deflection limits as per is2285:1963 standard. Grade 1 plates are artificially seasoned. Accuracies as per is2285:1963 standard.
