• Chemically stable and incompatible with strong oxidizers.

• Reacts explosively with 1, 3 dichloro -5, 5 dimethyl -2, 4-imidazolidibione, dinitrogen tetraoxide, concentrated nitric oxide, sulphuric acid, mixture of sulphuric acid, nitric acid mixture.

• Forms an explosive mixture with tetranitro methane

• Inhalation - mildly toxic by inhalation but can cause systemic effects.

• Ingestion - causes vomiting, gripping, diarrhoea and depressed respiration

• Eyes - vapour or liquid causes irritation in eyes.
