Product Profile of Mak Htbn

Mak htbn is a oil for dg sets running on ldo / heavy fuels. It has sae grades of 30, 40 & 50. It has the following unique features:

• These oils are 30 tbn marine diesel engine oils,

• Manufactured from solvent refined base oils

• Fortified with selected additives,

• Provide a very high basisity to the oil,

• Assists in protecting engine parts from corrosion attributed to high sulphur levels encountered in residual fuels.

• These oils also have good detergent, dispersant and antiwear properties and high thermal and oxidation stability.
These oils are specially formulated for large generating sets operating on residual fuels [fo/lshs/hps etc.]. Mak marine anther oil under this group has similar properties. The unique property that differentiates it from mak htbn is that:

• Fortified with selected additives which provides very high tbn retention power.
Recommended for use in all types of trunk type engines in medium speed marine engines and also suitable for use in engines with anti bore polishing rings.
