The hennig sound-proof enclosure system is an offshoot of a successful concept developed at hennig, usa. It consists of a double wall panelling system of 50 or 100 mm thickness. The intervening air space between these 2 panels is filled with a sound absorbing material. The normally used materials are glasswool or polyurethane foams. Maximum sound reduction is obtained when the floor is also provided with a double layered sound absorbing panel. The enclosure is built of standard elements and the size and position of viewing windows and doors can be rearranged and altered as and when desired.
