Polytronics valve test rig controller is specially designed for automatic life cycle or leakage testing of different types of control valves. It is useful for industrial valve manufacturers. The controller controls a high pressure pump unit and pneumatic or electric actuator which can open and close the valve under test as per the requirement. The leakage in the valve can be easily detected by just checking the pressure around the valve after hold time. In normal test conditions set pressure and pressure hold time are fixed values or alternatively programmable time setting can be supplied. During automatic testing an electromechanical/electronic counter counts the number of open and close cycles. Different sizes of valves can be tested by holding the valves in different pressure ranges by selecting the pump capacity. Reliable electronic pressure transmission/indication system is incorporated. An arrangement is made to bypass excess generated pressure to assure safe operation. With the use of dedicated logic controller, required logic and safety operation can be provided as per customers requirement.
