Polytronics series tr-600 represents transducers, which convert power line parameters such as frequency, voltage, current and also level, speed to a simple dc voltage or current signal. These transducers are optogalvanically isolated up to 2 kv, which overcome the problems in safeguarding costly equipment and ground looping. The input signal is converted into a suitable voltage level and then it is optically isolated to get the output signal. The process transducers accept power line parameters like kw, kva, frequency, etc. The features are: can accept process as well as power signals, useful for pc interface, eliminates ground looping problems, and compact yet rugged din rail enclosure.
