The taper lock friction sleeves connect the shaft to hub by means of taper lock arrangement. The sleeves are manufactured with cast steel of is 1030. This arrangement ensures effective locking, centering and efficient transmission of torque to the solid shaft with parallel keys. It also facilitates easy installation, maintenance and separation of shaft and shell.
