With their optimized positive/negative geometry & high positive true rake, they offer cutting action with maximized chip removal & smooth milling even in highly demanding slot-milling applications. The inserts designed with positive geometry to give additional positive rake to the cutters making possible milling in large varieties of material without any obstacle or hazard. They have four cutting edges for economy & are accessible in two geometries, namely, mh for a wide variety of application & ml for cast iron, finish milling & for non-rigid machines & work piece set ups. Very thick inserts permits high feed rates & process trustworthiness. The square shoulder mills can effectively be used to mill a variety of materials, including steel, cast iron, stainless steels & die steels. They are best suited for use on machining centres & low powered milling machine.
