The measured electrical parameter values are transmitted via the serial communications port [rs-232 or rs-485]. These power meters find their applications in: collectingelectrical parameters from remote sites. Software required for logging data iron the power transducers is also available. Various communication protocols, eg, ascii, modbus are available as standard. Following are some of the electrical features of this power transducer: the power transducer [rpt 091 ] measures tthree phase voltages , three phase currents , kw, kva, pf, kwh, kvah, kvarh, hz, amps, maximum demand all are measured by the power transducer. Two optional relay outputs are also provided for alarm/control functions or pulsing output for energy. Multiplexed analogue output is also available for providing analogue signals [4-20 ma or 0-20 ma] to external meters or plc.
