M b control & systems offers power meter [series pm-170m], a electrical power monitoring instrument. This m b series compact low cost panel mounted power meter meets the need for low cost switch gear panel monitoring. The mb series power meter offers display of 3-phase voltages, 3-phase currents, 3-phase max demand currents, hz, kw, kwh, kva, kvah, pf, active power, max demand, apparent power, max demand and accumulated demands. All inputs to this micro-processor based power meter are galvanically isolated. All the parameters are demonstraded via the three displays on the front panel [each display has four digits of 12.5 mm height] of the power meter. Isolated rs-485 interface is available as option. This mb series power meter is scada compatible and software is also provided for logging data from pm-170 under dos or windows. This compact electrical power monitoring instrument is accommodated in 144 x 144 x 90 mm panel mounting, tough plastic enclosure. Weight of the power meter is only 1.5 kg. Utilization of this mb series power meter simplifies the panel wiring and panel space is also saved.
