M b control & systems offers ac motor speed controllers, series el-8002. These are low cost and microprocessor based. These ac drives consist of latest igbt technology. The drive offers pwm sensorless flux vector control. It has starting torque of 150% of the rated load. These ac drives have built-in pi regulator and auto-tune feature to detect control parameters and provide smooth speed control. The drives are enclosed in panel mounting sheet metal enclosure. The front panel-programming module may be removed after the drive has been configured. These drives also come with optional remote controller. Speed control signal may come from front panel potentiometer or remote 0-10 v dc or 4-20 ma signals. Forward-reverse, multi-speed inputs and dc injection breaking are provided in the ac drive. Lnverter fault output signal and speed signal outputs are also given. All the drive operational parameters including acceleration and deceleration time are programmable according to application`s requirements. These drives also have rs-232/rs-485 interface, as an option. They come in 1 hp and 2 hp ratings, input voltage 220 v ac, 50 hz. Fluctuation of &177;10% in input voltage is allowable. These low cost ac drives are useful in various control applications.
