Since 1980, bharat corrub industries [bci] an iso 9001:2000 company manufactures cork rods and disks made of agglomerated cork. Bci manufacture cork rods and discs which are available as per international length [915mm] and diameter [26.7 mm] for crown corks. Cork rods can also be used to make agglomerated cork stoppers. Thus the cork-rubber can resist strong compressive loads with minimal extrusion or lateral flow used to make cork wads maintains its superior sealing properties as it does during thermal expansion/contraction and torsion flexing, even over long-term durability cycles. Cork rods and disks are eco-friendly and can be re-cycled.
