Excel heaters offers heaters with box cover insulation used mainly in industries ,, especially to heat the cylinders [barrels] on all types of plastic[s] processing machinery. The maximum sheath temperature is up to 480oc [900of], and maximum watt density, 25w/inch2. The box cover insulation prevents the heat dissipation from outer surface of the heater. Hot air is trapped between the outer surface of the heater and box cover insulation. This heater provides a swift rise in temperature of the object to be heated in comparison with plain mica heater and reduces thermal shocks on the raw material. Higher material output is possible, which increases productivity. It gives good shining and quality to the finished products.
