Mosil lubricants offers silicone based lubricating grease, mosil sn-41. It is thickened with a non-soap thickener having a very high melting point. It can be applied by hand or grease gun or can be lightly smeared on sliding surfaces. It is usable for anti-friction bearings of high temperature machines, wheel bearings of kiln-cars, steam turbine linkages and pins, ball and socket connections of power insulators, conveyor bearings, anti-seize for threaded fasteners, and for all applications where electrically conductive grease is required. This grease is advantageous because it is resistant to oxidation, has low evaporation rate, serves long lubrication periods and is nonmelting.
