The station is designed for very precise control of tip temperature with proportional integral derivative control method. The temperature setting can be adjusted from 200â° to 500â°c with set temperature locking. The iron is light weight with soft silicon rubber grip to avoid fatigue to the user. This temperature controlled soldering station has japanese ceramic element for rapid heating, high, insulation and low electrical leakage. The control is zero voltage-switching for low electrical noise on the tip. It has a built-in sponge holder for tip cleaning.
