Product Profile of Slam Shut-Off Type Valve
Slam Shut-Off Type Valve is installed immediately after the filter and prior to the regulator. The Valve normally remains open, in case the outlet pressure of the regulator exceeds the permissible limits; the valve senses it through the impulse line and immediately shut off the flow to downstream. The Valve has the feature that when the regulator is repaired the slam shut-off valve is to be opened manually by pulling the knob. The Slam Shut-Off Type Valve has the feature that once the flow starts through the valve it remains opens till the outlet pressure of the regulator is within limits.
Key Features of Slam Shut-Off Type Valve
- Installed immediately after the filter and prior to the regulator
