Extending its widely-used aw series of filter regulators, smc pneumatics offers a large size model to the range. Aw60 filter regulators are ideal for pressure control in general industry and in addition to features provided on other products in the range, they offer exceptionally higher flow rates [up to 14,000 lpm]. All aw series products [from the smallest aw 10 up to the aw60] are fitted with a 5μ filter element as standard. As well as ensuring longer product life, this minute level of filtration guarantees that air going into the system and subsequently being exhaust into the atmosphere is relatively free from contaminants. These filter regulators are made for fast & easy installation and maintenance, the aw60`s filter element can be changed in one simple movement. Modular arrangement of multiple units including lubricators and adaptors is also possible. Available in port sizes of ¾" and 1", the aw60 is compatible with low condensed ozone, comes equipped with a reverse flow function and has a square embedded pressure gauge available as an option. Offering proof pressure of 1.5 mpa and a maximum operating pressure of 1 mpa, the aw60 operates optimally in temperatures ranging from -5ºc to 60ºc within a set pressure range of 0.05 mpa to 0.85 mpa.
