The Paper Insulated Lead Sheathed Cables extends from 1.1 kV grade to 33 kV grade. The cables up to 6.6 kV grade are covered by `Tropodur` [PVC] brand. The standard range for paper cables covers 3 core cables up to 500 sq. Mm and single core cables up to 1000 sq mm in voltage grades of 11, 22 and 33 kV. These cables bear the ISI certification mark and are also approved by the Fire Insurance Association for use in places of Industrial hazards. The Paper Insulated Lead Sheathed Cables are installed along railway tracks, bridges, roads carrying heavy traffic, industrial plants or in any other conditions where vibrations are expected, are provided with a special lead alloy sheath.
