At first the plates are positioned on the inlet rollers of the shot blasting machine and passed into the working chamber. Then the two blast wheel stations, placed strategically on the top of the cabinet, fire the abrasive downward on the plates. As a result, the plates are cleaned on one side in a single pass and are transferred to the outlet roller of the shot blasting machine. The outlet chamber of the machine is outfitted with a nylon brush, which incessantly sweeps the plates and removes the abrasive collected on them. Just ahead of the brush roller, there is a blower that blows the remaining abrasives from the plates. Surface finishing equipment co. Provides all safety features with the equipments of the shot blasting machine and the operation is programmed by a plc. The shot blasting machine is able to provide conveying speed of 2 to 4 m/min and cleaning sa 2 to sa 2.5 as per swedish standards. Plates of up to one meter of width can be handled in the shot blasting machine.
