Product Profile of Tank Driving Simulator

Bharat Electronics Ltd. In collaboration with BVR Systems, Israel has developed a Tank Driving Simulator to train the drivers of T-72 tank. Tank Driving Simulator aids the driver, in procedures of starting the tank in various modes and maneuvers the tank on different terrain under varied environmental conditions. Tank Driving Simulator is an indoor simulator and does not include risks and also provides cost-benefit as against training on an actual tank. Tank Driving Simulator helps in Training indoors using various simulated terrain. The salient features of the Tank Driving Simulator:

• Easy maintainability as the system uses minimum mechanical components

• Adaptability to incorporate modified / enhanced controls

• Mock-up of the cabin, with controls

• The driver`s controls and instrument panel used are as available in the actual T-72 tank and are positioned at their respective locations
