Bharat electronics provides Pylon Interface Box, PIB. The product Pylon Interface Box is an interface unit between Stores interface box and Stores for the Light Combat Aircraft [LCA] or TejasPIB controls the release of weapons under the controls of Stores Interface Box and the cockpit discrete signals. Pylon Interface Box is available with Motorola 68332 based processor and its associated circuitry and 1553 B dual redundant RT data bus. The functions of the Pylon Interface Box include Detection of presence of Stores and MIL-STD-1760C Stores, Management and monitoring of normal and alternate release circuits, Monitoring of power supplies and release circuits to Stores stations.
