Mumbai-based sec machines manufactures pipe-cutting machine, auto pipe. This machine is portable and light in weight. These machines are usable on large field jobs, also in a small workshop. The machine is designed with special aluminium alloy making it lightweight yet robust. The other parts of machine are equipped with stainless steel and special brass alloy making it rust-free. The machine is simple and gives ease of operation. By quickly changing the length of the chain, it can cut pipes with diameter ranging from 150 mm minimum to any larger diameter. It can be operated in clockwise or anti clockwise direction from either side of the machine. As it can be operated manually, no electricity is required. Auto pipe can cut pipes ranging from 5 mm to 50 mm pipe thickness, by choosing correct nozzle size. The machine can cut bevel up to 45 deg by selecting the required degree on the torch holder of the machine. The machine torch is adjustable 70 mm vertically and 200 mm horizontally along the pipe surface by rack and pinion attachments. The torch control valves and machine operating handles located nearby allow quick and easy operation. Auto pipe with plasma-cutting torch is used for cutting stainless steel and other non-ferrous pipes. A torch holder to suit existing plasma cutting torch is the available, as an optional attachment.
