It is fitted with 18 KW electric heaters to finish the sterilization within 6 minutes of achieving the desired pressure of 2.2 kg/CM2 and corresponding saturated steam temperature of 134 degree Centigrade. Primarily the High Speed Sterilizer is intended for emergency sterilization of unwrapped surgical instruments and other components and is supplied complete with cord and plug to operate on 440 volts, three phase, 50 Hz AC supply.
