Kushal udyog offers blast room systems that consist of blast room enclosures, blasting machines, abrasive recovery arrangement and dust extraction equipment. The maximum job size and job handling arrangements decide the blast room size. The blast room may be missionary construction or steel sheet modular enclosure. Inside walls are lined with abrasion resistant rubber sheets as protection against abrasion from spent abrasives. Adequate illumination arrangement is provided for visibility. Blast room doors with suitably designed louvers are provided for intake air. Blasting machines are normally positioned outside the blast room while blast hose is held inside by the operator who is dressed up with protective clothing and helmet [u-2]. The function of abrasive recovery is to collect used abrasive from the floor and recycle it for use. Manual sweeping is preferred for very small rooms where equipment cost is a constraint. Mechanical screw conveying and pneumatic recovery systems are commonly used where continuous blasting operation is necessary. Dust extraction systems are cyclonic dust collectors, fabric bag system, and cartridge arrangement or wet type dust extractors. The selection is based on the cost of the system, operating cost and emission level desired.
