Mechanical parts are deburred before anodizing, plating, cleaning and descaling heat-treated components. Piston rings are cleaned before chrome plating or nitriding. Automobile chassis, bus or truck bodies are blast cleaned to attain surface preparation before phosphating and painting. Blast cleaning requires subsequent rubber bonding/coating to attain anchor finish on components. Surface preparation of exhausted parts before thermal spray or metal built-up.
