Sanstar microsystems offers battery charger. The specialties of these battery chargers are that they are smps based and typically have the cc-cv characteristics. They have high input voltage regulation starting from 180 to 270 v ac, due to which they find excellent application in rural area and in industrial set ups. The usage of latest technology has helped reduce the size considerably as compared to the conventional chargers. The application ranges from dg set automation, telecom, pcos, inverters, ups, wireless radio application etc. All models are also available for oem usage. The commercial production of around 10 models has already started and around six more models are under field-testing.
