Ef drills are ideal drills and reamers for use at very high speeds and feeds. Ef solid carbide tools with coolant holes can be applied with 150 to 350 m/min [for aluminium components] and with the feed rates as 0.1 to 0.75 mm per revolution while using stable and rigid machining set up. Ef drills and ef reamers are finished on tooth land and face, to the extent of 0.0. To 0.05 ra value, and are provided with a special geometry and no need of any coating for aluminium alloy machining application. They are available in two types - 1] with internal coolant holes 2] without coolant holes. They have many advantages over usual carbide tipped/hss reamer and single point boring tools, covering simultaneous reaming and burnishing; used at very high speed and feed up to 350 m/min and feed 0.75 mm/rev; applied in solid material or directly in core holes [as cast] without pre drilling; excellent surface finish due to burnishing effect; size consistency; roundness of hole is far superior; increase in density of the inner layer, hence avoiding deformation under severe working conditions when using of product; and easy resharpening. The company manufactures fp/cs drills, subland drills, step drills; ef-gc reamers with burnishing effect and various solid carbide tools, etc too.
