Soni Group of Electronics has developed `Matrix` vision-testing drum. These vision-testing drums are useful for testing patient`s visual acuity such as myopia or hy-peropia. The company supplies these Matrix vision-testing drum in three patterns in the unit such as colour test pattern to find out colour blindness, dot patterns to check fovea of the eye and duo chrome pattern. The company manufactures these vision-testing drums based on IR-based remote control technology to overcome problems of RF-based remote. These machines are slim, lightweight, compact and easy to handle.
