The metallised polypropylene film capacitors consist of a low dielectric formed by pure polypropylene film. A thin self-healing mixture of zinc and aluminium is metallised directly on one side of pp film under vacuum. This technology ensures long operating life of the capacitor. The capacitors are wound on a swiss-made, totally automatic winding machine. Ultra modern pneumatic control of winding machine delivers best possible winding metallised polypropylene. The ends of capacitor windings are contacted by spraying with zinc spray layer facilitating a high current load and ensuring low inductance between the terminals and windings. The elements of a metallised polypropylene capacitor are dried in an oven. After insertion into the cylindrical case, a viscous polyurethane resin is introduced. Oil filled capacitors are impregnated with npcb oil. This protects the winding from environmental influence and provides extended life-expectance and stable capacitance. Jaivic`s self-healing type metallised polypropylene capacitors have high specific capacitance and high ac load capacity. Voltage range - 600 v ac, max; capacitance range - 3µf to 70µf standard; temperature range - 25°c to 70°c; tolerance [°10] - ±5% to ±10%; and terminal - 2 tine quick connect lug terminals.
