Raj engineers has designed speed variator based on the beier drive principle. This variator coupled to an ac motor gives the output speed that can be varied infinitely without steps while the unit is running condition. When the motor rpm is 1440, the minimum output speed range of the variator is 200 to 40 rpm, its higher output ranges can be supplied if needed. Variators with input power of 0.37, 0.55 and 0.75 kw are available and other are under development. These process industries are ceramic, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, paper cable, food, cement, etc, can benefit by using this indigenous product. Conveyor systems, packing, automation, assembly lines of light engineering industries will also find the variator beneficial. It has a high efficiency continuous rating and is very compact, free of vibration and noise. The output speed can be varied while the unit is in operation, by rotating a knob which is easily accessible at the top of the variator. It can be supplied with or without the prime mover as desired and also be built to cater to the special requirements it necessary and the spare parts.
