Flameproof digital temperature controllers [model 703p] from global electronics, are ideally suited for temperature control in reactors, tray dryers, fluid bed dryers, hot water systems. These temperature controllers feature 2-setpoint dead band control with independently adjustable high and low setpoints. An additional third setpoint for a failsafe very high alarm is also provided. The setpoints can be viewed and adjusted without opening the enclosure. The instruments accept a 3-wire rtd pt-100 and the measurement is fully linearised to within 0.25 per cent accuracy over the range of -50 to + 200ºc. One 4 to 20 ma dc retransmission output for recorders/data acquisition is also provided. With all operational adjustments made from the outside without opening the enclosure, these instrument provides true flameproof installation. The elimination of cover opening also greatly enhances operational reliability. The instruments are also available in oem version.
