Abham corporation offers zinc coating system, zincogal, which combines the galvanic characteristics of a zinc coating with the barrier protection of a paint. It offers an active and passive protection due to special zinc on the one hand and due to barrier, provided by both the zinc oxides and binders, on the other hand. Zincogal contains 96% of pure zinc [pure to 995%] in its dry films. In very aggressive circumstances, zinc in zincogal sacrifices itself protecting the base metal. Zincogal provides cathodic protection and does not allow rust to creep beneath the layer to the base metal. As zincogal oxidises, zn[oh]2 salt will build upon the surface providing a barrier protection and a supplementary barrier is provided by binder in zincogal. The binder reduces disintegration of zinc. Thus it protects the metal/steel surfaces in a far better way then zinc rich paints, zinc spraying or hot dip galvanising. Zincogal is a one pack zinc coating system which can be applied by spraying, brushing or by immersion. It can be applied easily at site and on the structures as it is [without dismantling]. It withstands high temperatures [150°c] without peel-off or creeping. It can be applied on poles, motorway barriers, conveyor belts, pylons, pipes, tanks, silos, body works, ships, etc. Durability: 5 years in normal condition. Coverage: 60 sq.Ft/kg, single coat. Packing: 1/5/l0 kg.
