Nippon electrical industries has introduced orbital sander, model osb. Orbital sanders include uses like finishing wooden surfaces, removing old coats [rust] of paint, sheet metal fabrication and other industries for sanding, polishing purpose. The machine is equipped with rotor die casting technique without using armatures and thus problem of armature burnout cannot be experienced. The osb sander contains 250 w motor with 3000 synchronous speed in aluminium body for no maintenance. It is 100% indigenous, so all parts are locally available. The company also manufactures portable electric tools covering drills, grinders, sanders, blowers, hammer drills, cut off machine, marble cutter, flexible shaft machines, etc.
