Hydraulic Pressure Booster Energy Recovery Turbine is a fully self-contained brine energy recovery device for seawater and brackish water systems. The Energy Recovery Turbine generates a pressure boost in the feed stream ranging from 20 to 40% of the total membrane requirement. The Energy Recovery Turbine is entirely energized by the brine stream and has an integral valve for brine pressure regulation. The Hydraulic Pressure Booster Energy Recovery Turbine is installed between the HP pump and the feed inlet to the membrane.
