Bhavmark systems manufactures and exports the ml series. The open date ml series is a self contained, multiple lane hot foil overprinting system. It provides an on- line contact overprinting solution where a single substrate has to be coded a number of times across it`s width and where previously it has been necessary to fit complete hot foil printers for each lane. Individual printing heads are combined with one independent printing foil feed system enabling multiple lanes of substrate material to be hot foil printed simultaneously.
The heart of the ml system is the well proven open date hot debossing head, one per lane. Each head can print an area of up to 50mm along the substrate and 25mm across it. It is provided with it`s own fully changeable temperature control system and print height adjustment. Print dwell time is forbidden for all heads via a single potentiometer. Standard ml`s can be supplied in a number of different widths in 100mm increments and with any number of printing heads that can be restricted within the frame. They can be modified by the addition of brackets and rollers to suit most packaging machines. A separate electronic control unit for the ml series incorporates temperature regulation, print dwell time and foil index control systems.
