The combination of metal skins and polyurethane foam is the reason behind this structural strength. The glace-guard doors comprise cfc-free rigid polyurethane foam insulation, injected under high pressure. It has 2 [50 mm] thick, 3 [76 mm] thick and 4 [100 mm] thick modular panels. These doors consist of tongue-and-groove joint, with authentic thermal break, sealed with a dual bubble-shape weather strip. The sheeting of the doors is made of 26 ga [0.41 mm] galvanized steel. It has several unique features such as doorfame with resin thermal break which is made of shock-proof 5/32 [4 mm] thick extruded aluminium angles, heating cable for freezer [optional for cooler], heavy duty heated threshold for freezer, double u-shape gasker for door bottom.
