The Corrugator Rolls & Pressure Rolls of model number CR - 1000 begin with nitriding hardening treatment yielding a flute profile hardness of 62HrC. A hardness of 65HrC may be achieved if induction tempering with ionic nitriding is optioned for. This process also yields a tougher, more pressure resistant base steel structure.

TCC is composed of 86% tungsten carbide, 10% nickel and 4% chrome. The coating is impregnated with PTFE and polished for chrome like smoothness of 0.30um. The final coating thickness is 50um with even distribution over the flute profile.
