Appl manufactures pneumatic nippers for cutting leads of components on a pcb. These are available in two models. Model apn-5 cuts leads up to 0.5 mm dia and model apn-10 cuts leads up to 1.0 mm dia. The tools have hardened and ground steel blades, which impart a clean cut when operated. The tool has very compact construction and is this is especially useful for lady operators. It offers very fast cutting action. The blades can be replaced without opening the tool.
